Friday Night Cruise ins have returned for the 2012 Summer!

As most of you know, Harley Davidson - Downtown Renton informed us about a month ago that we wouldn't be able to have our Friday night cruise at their location next year because of the Honda dealership moving along side them. 

A committee was formed to check out several locations and after looking at the logistics of those locations, they recommended to the club members that WalMart is the best fit.  At their regularily scheduled monthly meeting, the members unanimously voted for WalMart as the future Maple Valley Street Rats Friday Night Cruise Ins.  Barring any unforseen circumstances, we will begin the 2012 Friday Night Cruise Ins at WalMart on Friday, May 4.

These Cruise-Ins will include MUSIC, PRIZE DRAWINGS, AND MANY OTHER FUN ACTIVITIES, so bring the whole family and ENJOY 

If you wish to show your car, be sure to arrive early, as we will frequently have well over 200 cars participating in a single evening. And the best part of it is, NO ENTRY FEE. We will continue our Friday canned food (non-perishable foods, including baby food) drive this year, so please bring your donations for our local food banks. In addition, we are most grateful for any cash donations you might care to make, which we use to support our Scholarship Program. To-date the Maple Valley Street Rats have awarded well over $35,000 to deserving students attending post high school Automotive Technical Schools.

We also sponsor the Car Show on the shores of Lake Wilderness on Saturday June 9th, 2012 in conjunction with The Maple Valley Days celebration, this event along with our Friday cruise-ins are all fun filled events which any car lovers would love to attend, so please mark these dates on your calendar.
